I have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist to the point that even talking about it makes me break out in nervous sweat. I've had some traumatizing experiences at the dentist in the past even just getting simple fillings where the staff at those places just did not handle the situation well in my opinion. I gave Mint a try after reading good reviews and seeing they offered oral conscious sedation. I went for the consultation last week and met Dr. Kweik and the staff who were all extremely friendly and understanding. They didn't make me feel embarrassed about wanting the sedation even just for 3 little fillings. Today I went and got the fillings done and I was so anxious even the prescribed oral meds did not seem to be working so they put me on nitrous gas. It took about 2 hours for me to relax enough to proceed and the team was absolutely patient and caring the entire time. I never once felt rushed or pressured even when I knew I was taking far longer to calm down than most people. I really appreciate that Dr. Kweik and her team were so kind and patient with me. The 4 shots she gave me were completely painless and the actual fillings were done and over with so quickly. I definitely plan to go back in the future (and hopefully not be so nervous next time) and would recommend Dr. Kweik and the team at Mint Highland to anyone! More
